In the face of multiplying crises, the rise of authoritarianism, and the dead end of the capitalist system, a question arises: How can we collectively build alternative ways of living, making decisions, and organizing ourselves?
It is around this question that we invite you to a meeting dedicated to the work of the Academy of Democratic Modernity (ADM), a popular education organization working to disseminate and foster debate on the paradigm of democratic modernity.
The ADM seeks to contribute to the battle of ideas by connecting emancipatory experiences and forces around the world. The goal is to circulate knowledge, experiences of struggle, and political perspectives in order to build a shared and liberating vision that transcends capitalism and the forms of domination that accompany it.
What exactly does the concept of democratic modernity encompass? What connections can be drawn to various social struggles and experiences? And above all, how can popular education help strengthen collective capacities for social transformation?
